About the Founder

Lisa Cox founded MITM to encourage you to critically reflect on the popular culture in your world – negative AND positive.

Described as “an advocate for healthy body image” (The Sunday Mail) and the “body image spokeswoman” (Mindfood Magazine), Lisa works to promote media literacy, a healthy body image and positive role models.

Through her writing and speaking work, Lisa also aspires to redefine definitions of beauty in popular culture.
